Barot is situated around 66 km from Mandi and 40 km from Jogindernagar, and it can be accessed via a charming road that winds through Ghatasani.

HOW TO REACH BAROT

By Road

You can easily reach to Barot from Ghatasani along the Pathankot-Mandi National Highway. Buses run regularly from Mandi, Jogindernagar, and Palampur to Barot, making it easier by public transport. If you wish, taxis are also available to hire from different locations like Mandi, Jogindernagar, Palampur as wells as Ghatasani.

By Air

The nearest airports are Gaggal Airport in Kangra, about 114 km away, and Bhuntar Airport in Kullu, around 123 km from Barot. You can directly take a taxi or bus from the airports.

By Train

The nearest train station is Jogindernagar, located about 40 km away on a narrow gauge line. From Jogindernagar, you can hire a taxi or catch a bus to reach Barot.
